Joe Sellers
Hello, my name is Joe Sellers and I am the father of 3 wonderful children, 2 girls and 1 boy and have a great job that allows me to talk with people from all walks of life. The unfortunate part is if I am speaking with them it is because they are in debt and need advice.
Most of them are good people; they are just in a bad situation and need to know what they can do to resolve the problem. Most of them want to pay off their debts and take responsibility for it but the credit card companies make it almost impossible to do so.
It is a good feeling when you can help someone out with a problem that they are having and know that you were able to give them the advice they needed to get out of debt and back on track with their life.
Some people as well as some companies have lost sight of the big picture and go to extreme lengths to take money from people and do not have the clients best interest in mind.
If you are honest and upfront with your clients even if you can’t help them out they will respect you even more and will usualy come back to you later on if they have a problem and need advice. They will also feel comfortable referring you to people they know that may be in a similar situation.
It seems all too often I hear the same story over and over about companies that made promises they knew they could not keep. Now this person who had enough problems before is now so deep in debt that they don't know what to do.
Always check out every company you are going to deal with. You can use the BBB (Better Business Bureau) to make sure that they are a good company and also to see how many complaints they have against them.
Also make sure you feel comfortable with the answers you are getting and if you feel like your questions are not being answered, you should move on to the next company on your list.
